[COMING SOON] Tea Towel Set: Lamps 01 + Chairs 01
A pair of design-minded kitchen towels celebrating eight enduring objects of twentieth-century furniture and lighting.
One towel features four modern seating designs: the B.K.F. Chair by Antonio Bonet, Juan Kurchan and Jorge Ferrari Hardoy; the LC/4 Chaise Longue by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand; the molded-plywood Lounge Chair by Grete Jalk; and the Tonico Sofa by Brazilian designer Sergio Rodrigues.
The companion towel gathers four equally distinctive lighting designs: the Arco Floor Lamp by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni; An Akari Light Sculpture by Isamu Noguchi; a suite of Nelson Bubble Lamps by George Nelson; and the PH Artichoke by Poul Henningsen.
The objects travel across the entire towel in a loose, varied composition inspired by witty mid-century printed kitchen linens.
Each motif is individually applied by hand, so placement varies slightly from towel to towel. No two sets are arranged exactly alike.
