LC/4 Chaise Longue Canvas Tote
A lightweight canvas tote printed with a technical line drawing of the LC/4 Chaise Longue, designed in 1928 by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, and Charlotte Perriand.
The LC/4 is the reclining chair as machine-age proposition: chrome arc, adjustable cradle, leather pad, cylindrical headrest, and a posture somewhere between leisure, therapy, and total surrender. It is elegant, severe, and a little bossy — which is exactly why it still looks modern nearly a century later.
Printed in black on natural cotton canvas, this tote carries the silhouette of one of the 20th century’s most recognizable design objects without requiring you to actually own the chaise, insure the chaise, or explain the chaise to guests.
