Otts & Kulcha was recently included in Palm Springs Life during Modernism Week — a wonderful moment that feels less like “press” and more like alignment.
Our vessels are not decorative afterthoughts. They are built. Thrown, altered, or cast. Surfaces are coaxed from heat and atmosphere — cratered, burnished, mineral, mercurial. What looks unearthed is in fact carefully engineered through repetition, restraint, and fire.
Each candle begins as a ceramic object. The fragrance is composed as a patina of air — layered, warm, architectural. Market, Cleared, Night Market — each designed to hold space rather than overwhelm it.
Modernism, at its best, is not minimal. It is disciplined.
We aim for the same.
